The 2025 Education Conference of the City and District of Regensburg took place on October 30, 2025, at FOSBOS Regensburg. Under the motto “Generation what?! – Vocational training in new (working) worlds” - schools, companies, and education stakeholders came together to discuss the future of training.
Of course, the Regensburg AI Driver's License was a must-have! AIR project manager Katja Eichinger gave a brief presentation on the innovative learning program at the beginning of the panel discussion “AI and Change in the Classroom – AI Meets Training” to the participating teachers. The panel was organized by Martin Fritz, media education consultant for digital education, Government of Lower Bavaria. An important takeaway: AI competence is indispensable. Banning AI in the classroom solves nothing – we must empower teachers and learners to use this future technology responsibly.
Following the conference, the education talk “Talking about Generations” with experts and a get-together took place at TechBase Regensburg.
