Drive2Transform Policy Forum 2026

26.02.2026

online, 16:00 - 18:00 Uhr

The European automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation – from electrification and autonomous driving to connected vehicles and emerging platform-based business models.

With the Drive2Transform Policy Forum 2026 on 26th of february we are launching a premier series to bring together policymakers from across Central Europe. Our goal is to discuss current developments, strategic needs, and future opportunities in these key transformation fields.

This event marks the first edition of the series, jointly organized by the Regional Development Agency Pilsen and the Cluster Mobility & Logistics (TechBase Regensburg GmbH). It serves as a vital platform for cross-border exchange, connecting regions facing similar industrial shifts.

What to Expect

The Forum will open with exclusive insights into the Interreg Drive2Transform project, featuring highlights from our Transformation Readiness Index. Based on interviews with 144 companies across nine regions, these findings provide a data-driven picture of where stakeholders stand today and what specific support is required to navigate the transition ahead.

Participants will gain high-level perspectives through two speeches, followed by an open exchange focusing on shared challenges and collaborative policy solutions.

Key Speakers

  • Tobias Gotthardt, Vice Minister at the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy
  • Peter Knap, EY Consulting

This event is specifically designed for:
