At the Clusters Meet Regions event in Regensburg, the “Regensburg AI Driver’s License” was introduced to a European audience as a practical example of how citizen-oriented AI education can support regional innovation strategies. The AI Driver’s License is designed as an accessible, 20-minute digital learning journey that familiarises citizens with fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence. Participants who complete the learning path receive a digital certificate, signalling basic AI literacy and supporting broader public engagement with new technologies.
