The Cluster Mobility & Logistics, represented by Steve Schumann, was invited to attend the 6th Bavarian-Czech Innovation Day in Furth im Wald on September 23. The event was organized by the Regensburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the District of Upper Palatinate. It brought together entrepreneurs, founders, researchers, and politicians from both countries—a strong signal for cooperation and future opportunities in the region.
The lecture program offered exciting insights:
- Keynote speech by Uta Anders (CFO Krones AG) on orientation in times of transformation and uncertainty.
- Panel discussions with Dr. Jürgen Helmes and Franz Löffler.
- Senta Čermáková (Czechitas) with inspiring perspectives on the role of artificial intelligence in transformation.
- Dr. Philipp Ramin (i40 – The Future Skills Company) with his contribution on deep tech as an opportunity for Germany.
- Luboš Malý and Reinis Vicups with practical examples of the role of people and AI in change.
A particular highlight were the start-up pitches: ten young companies from Bavaria and Czechia presented creative solutions ranging from drones and mental health apps to AI-supported accounting. Rocketmind (Regensburg) and WFlow (Czechia) received awards.
In addition to the presentations, the event offered plenty of opportunity for networking—a valuable chance to make new contacts and deepen existing partnerships.
Conclusion: A successful day that showed: Innovation knows no boundaries—it connects.
