We are in the midst of the sixth wave of innovation – shaped by AI and robotics
On December 3, 2025, Driving Change II – Module 4 focused entirely on strategic innovation design. In the Fahrenheit room, the focus was on how companies can develop sustainable innovation strategies in an era of rapid technological development. The current sixth wave of innovation – characterized by artificial intelligence, robotics, and data-driven processes – provides the framework for new business models, changed value chains, and growing demands on organizations.
Dr. Philipp Ramin's keynote speech provided a structured overview of effective innovation approaches: from systematic trend observation and methodical innovation processes to the organizational prerequisites that enable change. One focus was on how companies can develop innovation capability as a continuous competence and anchor it in everyday life.
In the subsequent workshop section, participants used practical methods to address the question of how innovation strategies can be transferred to their own corporate context. It became clear how crucial clear priorities, structured processes, and an innovation-friendly environment are for successful transformation steps – especially in a market environment that is being profoundly changed by AI, automation, and digital technologies.
Driving Change II – Module 4 once again demonstrated how important it is to combine technological impulses with organizational development and to build innovation capabilities in a targeted manner.
