On Monday, August 11, 2025, the Cluster Mobility & Logistics' transform.r project visited Sonplas in Straubing with around 20 participants from various industries. The aim of the event was to network and gain new impetus for the security and defense industry in Germany.
After a brief round of introductions, the guests were given an exciting insight into the work and diverse expertise of Sonplas during a tour of the company. The subsequent exchange gave rise to numerous discussions about possible cooperation approaches and joint projects.
The event concluded with a joint visit to the Gäubodenvolksfest, in traditional costume and a convivial atmosphere.
A big thank you to Sonplas for the invitation and the successful event; we are very pleased to have been able to attend.

The event was part of the German government's transformation networks. The Regensburg-based project transform.r supports companies in coping with structural change in the automotive industry.
