“Starting a business is a skill that must be learned” – this is the motto of the Hans Lindner Foundation and its motivation for regularly organizing entrepreneur schools in Bavaria. This year, the program kicked off on March 18 at the Regensburg District Office, which offers a fantastic view of Regensburg. The theme of the first of six evenings for 60 founders from a wide range of fields was ”From Idea to Product.”
After an introduction to the Hans Lindner Foundation by organizer Christina Altmann, Julia Pirzer from the Regensburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Upper Palatinate/Kelheim gave a comprehensive overview of business ideas and start-ups. TechBase Regensburg and the Cluster Mobility & Logistics with DInO then gave those present a brief insight into the most important subsidies. In particular, they explained the factors to consider when selecting the right funding programs and submitting applications. Funding programs such as Digitalbonus.Bayern for companies with fewer than 50 employees or the research allowance as a tax incentive for innovation are designed to provide financial support to young and smaller companies in particular.
The first seminar evening was rounded off by Horst Zaglauer from the Lower Bavaria/Upper Palatinate Chamber of Crafts with details on business plans and internal requirements, as well as special considerations for craftspeople starting a business. The evening was moderated by business development officer Roland Weiß.
