Potential applications of artificial intelligence in transport logistics range from scheduling and forecasting to improving efficiency throughout the entire supply chain. But which AI applications are already working reliably in practice today—and where do realistic, economically viable opportunities for implementation lie for companies in the region?
The Regensburg Logistics Initiative, along with the Cluster AIR Artificial Intelligence Regensburg and Mobility & Logistics, are jointly exploring these questions as part of the transform.r project.

The joint working groups of the Cluster AIR and Mobility & Logistics promote the exchange of knowledge, technologies, contacts, and ideas. The goal is to strengthen the dialogue between academia and industry, expand networking and collaboration within the group, and initiate new projects and partnerships.
This working group focuses on practical discussions regarding the application of AI in transport logistics—on a personal level, with concrete examples from Regensburg, and insights from external experts.
Regular participation in the working group helps logistics professionals better understand AI applications and implement the right tools in their own companies. At the same time, the working group provides insight into which AI solutions are already in use or under development in transport logistics today. The working group offers a platform for exchange and access to an active network of innovators, experts, and users.
