Short description

Digital transformation presents significant challenges for SMEs, startups, and the public sector, while also opening up great opportunities. 

Starting in September 2026, edih dina—with a project budget of 6 million euros—will support businesses and government agencies in their practical digital transformation. edih dina offers nearly 100 free services and consulting offerings – ranging from technology testing and employee training to grants, venture capital, and networking opportunities. 

dina stands for Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence.

Project duration: 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2029

Project partners

A Bavarian consortium of eleven partners has received EU funding as a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) and is now part of the European EDIH network of over 250 hubs. The consortium includes Bayern Innovativ (project lead), the applied AI Institute, the Bayerische Forschungsallianz, BAIOSPHERE AGENCY / Bayerische KI-Agentur, the Digitale Zentrum Schwaben (DZ.S), fortiss, the Fraunhofer-Institute IGCV und IIS, TechBase Regensburg (Cluster Mobility & Logistics, AIR Artificial Intelligence Regensburg and Digitale Gründerinitiative Oberpfalz), as well as the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and the East Bavarian University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg.
