Developing the mindset and skills needed by companies undergoing transformation

12/04/2025

We are in the midst of the sixth wave of innovation—driven by AI and robotics

On December 3, 2025, Driving Change II – Module 4 focused entirely on strategic innovation design. In the Fahrenheit room, the focus was on how companies can develop sustainable innovation strategies in an era of rapid technological advancement. The current sixth wave of innovation—characterized by artificial intelligence, robotics, and data-driven processes—provides the framework for new business models, transformed value chains, and growing demands on organizations.

Dr. Philipp Ramin’s keynote presentation offered a structured overview of effective innovation approaches: from systematic trend monitoring and methodical innovation processes to the organizational prerequisites that enable change. A key focus was on how companies can develop innovation capability as a continuous competency and embed it in their daily operations.

In the subsequent workshop session, participants used practical methods to explore how innovation strategies can be applied to their own corporate contexts. It became clear how crucial clear priorities, structured processes, and an innovation-friendly environment are for successful transformation steps—especially in a market environment that is being profoundly transformed by AI, automation, and digital technologies.

Driving Change II – Module 4 once again demonstrated how important it is to combine technological impulses with organizational development and to build innovation capabilities in a targeted manner.

Many thanks to all participants for their active involvement, as well as to Dr. Philipp Ramin for his expert insights and the inspiring exchange.
