The automotive industry has been undergoing a comprehensive transformation for some time now: in addition to traditional gasoline and diesel engines and processes, new technologies, new markets, and new media are coming to the fore. Sonplas has its roots in cutting-edge technology in the traditional drive environment. In line with its slogan “For your success,” Sonplas has been developing flexible and scalable special-purpose machines for machining, assembly, and testing for over 30 years.
Over the years, the special-purpose machine manufacturer has consistently developed and expanded its portfolio: from proven solutions for conventional applications to solutions for electromobility, battery cell production, or hydrogen—depending on the application, also for methanol, ammonia, and other so-called “new fuels.”
What transformation means at Sonplas is particularly evident here: existing core competencies (including precision machining, assembly, and functional testing) are continuously transferred to new requirements—supplemented by new technologies, new testing methods, and new fields of application.
This results in solutions that help customers develop new components and systems safely for series production and also manufacture them safely.
At our cluster event, we will use selected examples to show what this approach looks like in practice at Sonplas—including a look behind the scenes.
The event also offers opportunities for exchange, discussion, and networking.
