Launch of a new working group

11/12/2025

Embedded AI in Production

The new working group “Embedded AI in Production” kicked off on November 11, 2025, with a webinar. The goal of the first meeting was to provide a shared introduction to the topic and identify initial areas of focus for future collaboration.

The focus was on the keynote presentation by Maximilian Deichsel (Infineon Technologies) on the topic “Data Acquisition to Target Deployment and Making Use of Data – How to Deal with the Fast-Growing System Landscape.”

He demonstrated how companies can address the ever-increasing demands on data management and system integration. Particular emphasis was placed on how data can be efficiently utilized from collection through to productive use in AI-based applications—an aspect that is becoming increasingly important in many production environments.

There was an opportunity for questions afterward. The presentation served as a technical foundation for further discussion within the working group.

Note

The event was part of the German Federal Government’s Transformation Networks (funding body: Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, BMWE). The Regensburg-based project transform.r supports companies in navigating structural change in the automotive industry.
