The third part of the “Transforming Transport” webinar series on May 12 focused on the presentation of a project for a fast-charging park for e-trucks based on the Inntal Autohof in Raubling. Dettendorfer Energy, a joint venture between Energie Südbayern and Dettendorfer Spedition, has set itself the goal of building a powerful and sustainable infrastructure for electric vehicles. The focus here is on charging options for electric trucks. After all, more and more e-trucks will be on the road in future to transport goods from A to B.
A total of two 400kW and four 300kW charging stations are planned in the fast-charging park, each of which can charge two vehicles simultaneously. All charging points can be used for both e-cars and e-trucks. The location is perfect: the Inntal Autohof is not only optimally connected to the busy A93 and A8 highways and the B15 federal highway, but also offers all drivers a convenient rest stop during the charging process.
Markus Oelsner, Managing Director of Dettendorfer Energy, presented the project and gave an insight into the challenges, but also the opportunities that this project brings with it.
Even during the virtual presentation, the more than 40 participants asked many questions, showing how much the topic is on everyone's minds.
Further dates in the webinar series
