On October 16, 2025, the Cluster Mobility & Logistics invited attendees to the Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG plant in Teisnach as part of the “Cluster on Site” event series under the transform.r project. Approximately 2,000 employees work at this key company location, which serves as a system supplier and center of excellence for mechanical and electronic manufacturing within the group.
During exclusive factory tours, participants gained detailed insights into the site’s key manufacturing areas. The focus was on printed circuit board production, highly specialized cleanroom assembly, flexible small-batch manufacturing, and innovative solutions in the field of security technology. The hands-on insights into production and assembly processes impressively demonstrated the plant’s technological capabilities and process diversity.
In Teisnach, Rohde & Schwarz presented itself not only as a leading manufacturer of broadcast transmitters, security scanners, and customized radio communication systems, but also as an internationally positioned service partner for the maintenance and support of these systems. The comprehensive range of services in the area of manufacturing services rounds out the site’s profile.
