On April 14, 2026, as part of the “Bayern – Fit for Partnership” initiative, Bayern International, together with its partners energiewaechter and Cluster Mobility & Logistics, hosted a networking event with a Croatian delegation at TechBase Regensburg. The focus was on fostering dialogue between Bavarian and Croatian companies regarding innovative solutions in the fields of hydrogen technologies and energy engineering.
After a brief welcome and introduction of the participating organizations, the 30 participants first received an overview of current developments and needs in the Croatian hydrogen market. Carolin Reiser from H2.B provided the Bavarian perspective, before Katja Eichinger from the Cluster Mobility & Logistics and Oliver Kotzulla from the Regensburg Energy Agency turned their attention to the region. Alexander Meisinger then tied this in with the HySEE – Hydrogen in Southeast Europe project at OTH Regensburg. The program was complemented by short pitches from Bavarian companies.
A central element of the event was the accompanying in-house exhibition. This offered participants the opportunity to network specifically, present individual solutions, and explore concrete cooperation potential.
During the remainder of the delegation’s trip, the Croatian guests visited other cluster members, such as the Wörth-Wiesent Technology Campus of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and Sonplas GmbH.
The event highlighted the critical importance of international cooperation for the development of a sustainable hydrogen economy and provided a successful platform for dialogue between Bavarian and Croatian stakeholders. It also made a significant contribution to establishing new business relationships and enhancing the international visibility of Bavarian companies.
The Cluster Mobility & Logistics would like to thank energiewaechter and Bayern International for another excellent collaboration.
