On July 16, 2026, the Mobility & Logistics Cluster held a funding workshop that provided participants with a concise introduction to relevant funding opportunities in the fields of the bicycle industry and micromobility.
Following a brief welcome and introduction to the format’s objectives and structure, a funding overview provided an overview of key funding principles and programs in the areas of innovation, research and development, and digitalization. The presentation offered initial guidance on how to categorize project ideas and identify suitable funding opportunities.
The subsequent interactive roundtable focused on the participants’ individual questions, needs, and project ideas. Together, they identified, prioritized, and discussed topics. In addition to specific funding questions, they also discussed initial project concepts and assessed them in terms of suitable funding frameworks. The discussion about existing projects or those for which applications had already been submitted provided additional practical insights.
Particular emphasis was placed on collaboratively organizing selected ideas in the form of mini-project profiles. This made it possible to refine initial approaches and identify potential next steps and opportunities for further discussion.
The event was aimed at companies, startups, research institutions, and other stakeholders in the fields of mobility, digitalization, sustainability, and new business models, and provided a practical platform for exchange, guidance, and networking.
