The Smart City Expo World Congress took place this year from November 15 to 17, and the Cluster Mobility & Logistics participated with the European mobility project RECIPROCITY at the Bayern International stand.
First held in 2011, the congress and accompanying trade fair is considered the international industry meeting place for urbanization and smart cities. Once again this year, Bavarian companies, cities, and organizations were able to present themselves under the umbrella of the Bavarian stand and network with exhibitors and visitors.
The trade fair was accompanied by an extensive program.
Among other things, a panel discussion on “Innovative solutions for (peri-)urban mobility” took place, at which Uwe Pfeil, cluster manager of the Cluster Mobility & Logistics, presented the European mobility project RECIPROCITY “Replication of innovative concepts for peri-urban, rural or inner-city mobility”. A presentation by cluster member Dallmeier electronic GmbH & Co.KG also enriched the trade fair on November 16.
"8 instead of 145 cameras for 9000 sqm: Efficiently capture large urban areas with multifocal sensor video technology" was the title of the presentation by Josua Braun, Marketing Director.
A visit by Roland Weigert, State Secretary in the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, was another highlight of the trade fair in Barcelona.
