At the beginning of 2023, Cluster Manager Uwe Pfeil was appointed as a new member of the renowned Cluster Excellence Expert Group (CEEG) - a significant milestone in his career and further proof of the high quality of Regensburg's Cluster Mobility & Logistics.
The CEEG is an international panel of experts that makes the final decision on the award of the Gold Label of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI). Around 30 experienced representatives from ten European countries belong to this exclusive group. The aim of the committee is to ensure neutrality and international recognition when awarding the coveted seal of quality.
The fact that Uwe Pfeil is now part of this commission is testament to his many years of expertise in cluster management and the trust placed in him at European level. As a new CEEG member, Uwe Pfeil can make his expertise from over ten years of cluster management available. The path to the expert group was closely linked to the cluster's own success: in 2022, the Mobility & Logistics cluster headed by Uwe Pfeil was awarded the Gold Label - a historic success, as this was the first time that the highest quality label for cluster initiatives went to Regensburg. The strict evaluation process comprised 31 criteria, including structure, strategy, governance and member satisfaction.
