The Mobility & Logistics Cluster had a booth at the “Mobility of the Future” symposium on September 24, 2026, at the Plattling Campus. The event brought together experts from research, industry, and politics to present and discuss current developments in the field of autonomous and connected mobility.
In addition to technical presentations on artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, data management, and vehicle safety, the event focused in particular on hands-on demonstrations. The demonstration vehicles on display attracted a great deal of attention, showcasing how modern sensor technology maps their surroundings in three dimensions, thereby laying the foundation for automated driving functions.
For the Cluster Mobility & Logistics, the symposium provided an excellent platform to nurture existing contacts, meet new stakeholders, and learn about current trends in research and development. The intensive exchange underscored once again that innovations in the mobility sector arise primarily where business, academia, and networks collaborate closely.
