The 2025 Education Conference organized by the City of Regensburg and Regensburg District took place on October 30, 2025, at FOSBOS Regensburg. Under the theme “Generation what?! – Vocational Training in New (Work) Worlds,” schools, companies, and education stakeholders engaged in discussions about the future of vocational training.
Of course, the Regensburg AI Driver's License couldn’t be left out! AIR Project Manager Katja Eichinger had the opportunity to briefly introduce the innovative learning program to the participating teachers at the start of the panel discussion “AI and the Transformation of Teaching – AI Meets Vocational Training.” The panel was moderated by Martin Fritz, media education consultant for digital education at the Government of Lower Bavaria. An important takeaway: AI literacy is indispensable. Banning AI in the classroom solves nothing—we must empower teachers and learners to use this future technology responsibly.
Following the conference, the education talk “Talking about Generations” with experts and a get-together took place at TechBase Regensburg.
