What began with dedicated networking in Regensburg has now been recognized throughout Europe: Uwe Pfeil, Cluster Manager of the Cluster Mobility & Logistics, was named “European Cluster Manager of the Year” at the European Cluster Conference 2020. This is the first time that the reigning European Cluster Manager has come from Germany.
The award is the result of a multi-stage selection process in which cluster managers from all over Europe were nominated. Pfeil came out on top as one of three finalists - a significant success for him personally, but also for the entire cluster team and the strong community of member companies.
This award shows that Regensburg's cluster policy has an impact far beyond the region and sends a strong signal for the quality of cooperation in the cluster. It underlines the fact that the Regensburg region plays a leading role in the European cluster landscape.
