On 5 May, 35 experts from 25 companies and institutions from the automotive industry met at Techbase Regensburg to discuss transformation paths for the mobility of tomorrow. Organised by the Mobility & Logistics Cluster, the event followed on from the first Drive2Transform round in February - this time with an even stronger focus on practical implementation projects.
Programme at a glance
The event began with a welcome and a brief introduction by Uwe Pfeil, Cluster Manager of the Mobility & Logistics Cluster. Steve Schumann, Project Manager in the same cluster, then gave a comprehensive overview of the Drive2Transform project.
This was followed by a practical presentation on the topic of ‘Transformation in automotive supplier production’. This contribution was presented by Karlheinz Vogl, Head of Industrial Engineering at Continental Automotive Technologies GmbH, and offered valuable insights into current transformation processes within the industry.
This was followed by the World Café entitled ‘Transformation Ready 2030/2035’. This interactive discussion round was moderated by Anne Häner, Julia Dick, Melanie Terne and Steve Schumann, all project managers at the Mobility & Logistics Cluster. The participants had the opportunity to actively participate in the dialogue and jointly develop future transformation strategies.
The programme concluded with an outlook on the next steps to follow.
