RECIPROCITY local Mobility Workshop

06/07/2021

needs and requirements for sustainable mobility

On 1 June 2021, the E-Mobility Cluster invited to the Virtual Mobility Workshop, which took place within the framework of the RECIPROCITY project.

What is RECIPROCITY all about?

The name of the project stands for "Replication of innovative concepts for peri-urban, rural or inner-city mobility".
The E-Mobility Cluster Regensburg is leading the European mobility project RECIPROCITY.
The aim of the project is to identify innovative mobility concepts for rural, peri-urban and inner-city areas and to replicate them elsewhere.

This first workshop brought together stakeholders from the mobility sector and citizens from the Regensburg region. The aim of the workshop was to find out and work out where the respective needs and requirements for sustainable mobility lie. This was followed by an exchange on use cases and proven solutions.

After a short welcome and introduction to the topic of the workshop by Michael Strobel, E-Mobility Cluster Regensburg, Florian Heitzer, Stadtwerk Regensburg GmbH, gave an overview of mobility in Regensburg: Yesterday - Today - Tomorrow.
Following this, Mr. Wolfgang Wegmann from SAMOS e.V. brought the state of e-mobility into the workshop with his presentation from the user's point of view.

A needs assessment enabled all workshop participants to work closely together.

The Mobility Workshop took place as part of the Regensburg Sustainability Week.
