On October 21, 2022, TechBase participated for the first time as a partner in the Nacht.Schafft.Wissen. event.
During the event, the Mobility & Logistics Cluster had the opportunity to introduce itself to the citizens of Regensburg and explain the cluster’s work. Two EU projects in the mobility sector were highlighted in particular:
- RECIPROCITY: The Mobility & Logistics Cluster is leading the project, which is funded with approximately 1.5 million euros under the European Union’s “Horizon 2020” program and stands for “Replication of innovative concepts for peri-urban, rural, or inner-city mobility.” The goal of the project is to identify innovative mobility concepts for rural, inner-city, and peri-urban areas and to replicate them elsewhere. The highlight of the evening: One of these identified mobility projects—“ZISteM” (Targeted Integration, Control, and Management of Micromobility Services)—from the Regensburg area officially launched its pilot phase at the Nacht.Schafft.Wissen event. For this phase, three innovative charging stations will be installed: at the Arcaden (south side of the main train station), at the Tech-Base, and at the Burgweinting train station. During this time, the project will also assess whether e-scooters, when integrated with public transportation, represent a sustainable alternative to cars. Selected test users will participate in the project.
- REMOBILISE: is a 24-month project funded by the EU's COSME program with the goal of strengthening cluster management capabilities while forging strategic links between clusters, ecosystems, and cities across Europe in the field of mobility.
We're already looking forward to the next Nacht.Schafft.Wissen 2024!
