Pay close attention to the political classification of a funding guideline, involve stakeholders correctly, and never deviate from the format specifications—these and many other tips were provided by speaker Susanne Deisböck (Leyton Deutschland GmbH) in the webinar “Funding at a glance: Writing funding applications—How to, Dos & Don'ts” on November 20, 2025. Deisböck has many years of experience in advising companies on funding applications and therefore knows all too well which factors often cause funding applications to fail. It is about much more than the linguistic and structural composition of an application: factors such as the appropriate choice of research topic and consortium are essential.
The aim of the webinar was to provide companies with varying levels of experience with practical tips for their next funding application. If things don't work out, companies can contact Leyton Germany or the Cluster Mobility & Logistics for support in the area of funding: Contact us at: leonie.bechtoldtechbase.de – we will be happy to advise you.
Note
The event was part of the German government's transformation networks (funding body: Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, BMWE). The Regensburg-based transform.r project supports companies in coping with structural change in the automotive industry.
